Gifts for flying fashionably
A tightly edited list of useful luxuries for the chic traveler—plus, a special subscriber discount and your chance to win $1,000+ in travel favorites
I love the holiday season. My love language is gift-giving, so I relish every opportunity to give thoughtful, creative gifts and give back. This is why I’m doing two special things for you, my dear readers, who have brought me so much joy this year:
I’m running a discount for paid subscriptions, making this my best offer ever: $4/month or $32/year. If you’ve ever considered upgrading your subscription, now would be the best time to do it! The discount will be automatically applied when upgrading/subscribing.
***UPDATE: GIVEAWAY CLOSED.*** And, big news: Window Seat turns one next month (!!!), and to celebrate, I’ll be doing a BIG giveaway of my favorite travel products—valued at over $1,000—for paid subscribers. If you have a paid subscription through the end of the year, you’ll be automatically entered to win. More to come!
Since its golden age, air travel has devolved into something people typically see as an inconvenience. Flight delays, limited legroom, and other issues have prompted many travelers to prioritize function over form, making sloppy sweats and straight-up pajamas a common sartorial sight at the airport. We’ve come a long way from dressing up to get on planes.
Now, I’m not campaigning for business casual on every flight. But I do think there is value, at least for me, in flying fashionably. And the same goes for the products I travel with. Why not use or wear something beautiful when you have the option? It’s making little choices like this that I find have a compound effect on the way I feel.
This is a feeling I aim to spread far and wide through my product recs, so Window Seat’s first gift guide is dedicated to these little luxuries I’m loving and lusting after.
