All fantastic recommendations!! Do you have any tips for combating dry air? My sinuses get so dry from low humidity cabin air, and I frequently get pounding headaches in flight as a result

I've heard of people applying something like vaseline to the nostrils to help! or a nasal saline spray

Major pitch for consulting Bumpy Skies pre flight too to get a sense of where/when turbulence could hit!

This is a great tip! Personally it heightened my anxiety, but i've heard it's very helpful for others to know so they can mentally prepare.

Totally get that — the jello theory has also been a hugeeee shift for me in thinking about turbulence

In Katie and Tori we trust! I loved this special edition. The magazine layouts are so good, and I'm ordering a new eye mask as a result.

Love this!! All such great wellness tips and insight for travel. My dad’s a pilot and has always instilled very similar habits in me from a young age. I dive more into that in my article on how to stay well while traveling here!

I liked that it showed two different perspectives, I believe that we all should have our little own tips and perks to travel well, we are all different so we should try to know what makes us feel better and happier while traveling…🩶

You gave me an idea to also have a post on what works for me because it could also work for someone else:

-grounding barefoot, sun, long walk and eating every 2 hours to avoid or beat jet lag…

-the neom or this works roller to calm for sleeping in the plane, Spotify sleeping guitar playlist and sleeping really late the night before

- drink lots of water at arrival to the destination to replenish, cleanse and debloat

- I also follow my body, if I feel like eating, I eat, if I’m tired I take a power nap with set alarm to wake up…

- the “must” is noise canceling AirPods or headset, you will be really less tired after the flight ✈️

Absolutely adored this post! Also feeling much better that I’m not the only one who never manages to bring a reusable water bottle…here’s to more travel joie de vivre, even if that just means permission to buy $12 of water! 🤍

LOVED this collaborative post combining travel/flying with wellness! I mentioned to Tori I’ve faced flying nerves myself, and it actually inspired me to create a comprehensive "Ground Before You Fly Kit" packed with somatic exercises, mindset shifts, journaling prompts, rituals, and calming audios that I rely on whenever I travel by air. While it doesn’t erase the anxiety entirely, having this toolkit helps me feel more steady and supported throughout the journey, which has been a major win for my previously super anxious self (especially when thinking about turbulence).

I especially loved what you guys wrote towards the end of reframing the annoyances of travel around - and instead looking at travel/flying as this incredible wonder and extraordinary gift. I know that's going to help me immensely when I'm flying next week, as a a grounding tool to soften fear and open up more room for calm and awe.

PS: I’ve turned the kit into an Etsy product (https://www.etsy.com/listing/4333941800/flight-anxiety-kit-nervous-flyer-toolkit?ref=shop_home_active_11&pro=1&logging_key=88fd8f75bf15b0e09766890e9921b0e86ed10379%3A4333941800) and marked it 50% off for the summer season for anyone who feels drawn to try it.

Thank you again for sharing this topic - it has definitely helped me feel more excited about travel/flying (when previously the fear took over).
