Issue No. 100: What’s next for Window Seat (plus a giveaway!)
A major milestone, a big giveaway, and a few updates on what’s changing going forward
Life lately has been an absolute whirlwind: a press trip to Chicago last week, a stay at NYC’s most iconic hotel this week, another press trip coming up next week, and today, this very issue marks the 100th edition of Window Seat.
When I first started writing this newsletter, it was a way to channel my love of the journey as much as the destination of travel. Now, Window Seat is read by over 7,000 of you, has helped me land dream partnerships, shifted the course of my career, and—most meaningfully—given me a community of like-minded travelers who read and care about what I have to say. Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or subscribed just last week, thank you. Your support and trust truly mean the world to me.
To celebrate this milestone, I’m making a few updates to how things run around here, but—more importantly—launching a very fun giveaway to mark the moment!
To celebrate 100 issues, I’ve teamed up with some of my favorite brands to give away a suitcase-worthy set of my ultimate travel favorites, plus a special grand prize to help you book your next luxurious getaway.
Here’s what’s up for grabs:
✈️ The Travel Favorites Bundle (to win, just leave a comment!)
Away Large Suitcase & Clear Cosmetics Case in Salt White — The Large is my go-to checked bag for long-haul escapes. It’s spacious without being bulky and glides like a dream. Plus this new, matching cosmetics case? Are you kidding me? A game-changer for packing toiletries in style.
Summer Fridays Skincare Set — The in-flight skincare lineup I swear by. Includes Lip Butter Balm (Vanilla), Jet Lag Eye Patches, Jet Lag Moisturizing Mask, Jet Lag Essentials Set, Daily Exfoliating Pads, Jet Lag Skin Soothing Hydration Mist, and Jet Lag Deep Hydration Mist.
Belkin BoostCharge Set (Magnetic Power Bank & 3-Port USB-C Charger) — The most powerful little duo in my tech pouch. The 3-port charger juices up all my devices fast, while the magnetic power bank is slim enough to slip into my tote. Plus, it doubles as a phone stand which is perfect for streaming mid-flight.
Loeffler Randall Dina Travel Tote — A truly stylish carry-on companion. It’s polished but practical, with thoughtful compartments and a smart trolley sleeve that slips over your suitcase handle.
Ries Limited Edition Gift Set — TSA-friendly and beautifully designed, these five leakproof bottles cover everything: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, and one customizable container. It’s a small upgrade that makes a big difference!
Crown Affair Hair Towel — There’s something grounding about keeping a little ritual from home while on the road. This towel is ultra-lightweight, fast-drying, and so much gentler on hair than the average hotel towel.
💳 The Luxe Escape (for one lucky paid subscriber)
One paid subscriber will also win a $500 voucher from Luxury Escapes, my favorite site for curated getaways. They partner with the world’s most beautiful hotels and resorts—and every booking comes with built-in perks like spa credits, dining experiences, and upgrades.
How to Enter:
To win the product bundle: Just leave a comment on this issue!
To win the Luxury Escapes voucher: Be an active paid subscriber as of 11/6.
Open to U.S. residents only.
Winners will be selected at random, contacted by email, and announced in the 11/7 edition of Window Shopping. Good luck!!
Window Seat is still publishing twice a week, but here’s what’s changing: moving forward, every Wednesday issue will be exclusive to paid subscribers (instead of alternating weeks like before). If you’re a free subscriber, you’ll continue to receive one free issue every Friday. Here’s the full breakdown:
Every Friday: free subs get the weekly Window Shopping letter: a stylish scroll through travel news, hotel picks, personal updates, and product finds.
Every Wednesday: paid subs get my weekly, full-length editorial issues. This means destination guides & itineraries and travel hacking will continue to be paid content, but that personal essays, Seatmates interviews, and any other articles will exist primarily behind a paywall.
If you’ve been enjoying Window Seat and want to support its future, becoming a paid subscriber is the best way to help—and now’s the perfect time: I’m offering 20% off annual subscriptions—just $48 instead of $60. And the best part is that the discounted rate is locked in forever (your price won’t go up after a year!). This offer will expire one week from today on 11/7.
I’ll never stop being amazed that people read this newsletter, let alone pay for it. It’s an immense privilege to show up in your inbox, share the places I go and the things I love, and know that it resonates. I love you all!!!
With gratitude,
Tori
