I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! In the spirit of the holiday, I want to say again how deeply grateful I am for this community. As always, thank you for reading, engaging, and being here. ❤️
If you want to know what to get me for Christmas, may I suggest this collector’s edition coffee table book from my favorite airline? Delta teamed up with Assouline for a collector’s edition book that traces the airline’s evolution decade by decade, blending archival photography with personal stories from the people who shaped it. It moves from Delta’s crop-dusting beginnings in 1925 to its most modern milestones, including the pioneering women who stepped into the cockpit. If you have an aviation lover in your life (hi!!!), it’s available for pre-order now and ships January 15th.
The best gift you can give someone is an experience they’ll never forget. This year, I got to experience a holiday meal cooked by a James Beard Award–winning Chef Robert through Airbnb Services, and it was truly unforgettable. (The experience was gifted, but there was zero obligation to post; I genuinely loved it, and so did my friends!) Now Airbnb is offering up to 50% off select Services and Experiences in NYC, LA, and Paris for BFCM. Think chef-prepared dinners, pasta-making inside Michelin-star kitchens, spa-level treatments at home, and even flying over the Hollywood sign with your own private pilot. Just use code MERCI50 when booking.
Le Sirenuse is opening a beach club for it’s 75th anniversary. To celebrate its impossibly chic 75th year, Le Sirenuse is launching something entirely new for 2026: Le Sirenuse Mare, a beach club in Nerano that distills the hotel’s signature “new dolce vita” spirit into an open-air world of its own. We can expect a 180-seat restaurant, three bars, and a flagship Emporio Sirenuse boutique, all set within a lush garden designed in collaboration with artisans and creatives the brand has long championed. Open daily April through October, it’s poised to become the Amalfi Coast’s most coveted daytime address.
Here are some of my absolute favorite BFCM deals: the things I actually use every day or never travel without. I’m being extremely selective with what I share, but these are the products I’d recommend to anyone, whether you’re stocking up for yourself or gifting a fellow traveler:
Neck pillow: I never cared about travel pillows until I found this one. It gives just enough structure and actually allows you to sleep upright. It kept my head from bobbing around on a red-eye, saving my neck (and my sanity). No small feat! ($44 on sale from $65)
Airfly: A frequent flyer must-have. You can plug it into your airplane TV to listen with your own headphones wirelessly and you can connect up to two devices at once. ($25 on sale from $44)
Electric toothbrush: I’ve used this brand since 2022 and recently upgraded to the 2.0, which is somehow even better than the original. It comes with a UV-cleaning travel case (genius) and the brush holds a charge for a full month. No notes. ($108 on sale from $135)
Hair treatment: If I had to credit one product for saving my hair, it would be this. I use it every time I wash, and it’s been a complete gamechanger. It’s usually pricey, but even then it’s a must-buy—at this discount it’s a no-brainer. ($37 on sale from $75)
Sleep anywhere: You already know how I feel about earplugs when I travel, but I also use them at home when I want an obscenely luxurious night of sleep — the kind where you hear nothing but your own breathing. Nothing is more soothing. ($14 on sale from $20)
Toiletry bag: This bag is so thoughtfully designed: modular, with a satisfying magnetic closure, and a leak-proof shell that holds up to anything. I use the original size and I’m finally upgrading to a larger one for my hair tools. ($52 on sale from $65)
Four Seasons Boston — Boston, Massachusetts
I’ve never stayed at a Four Seasons before, and Boston will be my first—a fitting choice, because this property has so many touches that feel unique rather than just “luxury in a big city.” Set directly against the Public Garden, the hotel is known for its postcard-perfect park views, but the real charm lies in the details: the legendary complimentary snack pantries on every floor (yes, a closet full of treats), the way the lobby transforms into a warm winter setting... I’m heading there next week and can’t wait to discover more on my own. Make sure to follow along on Instagram and TikTok for the whole stay!
