Tomorrow, I’m heading to Menorca, Spain! This is a trip I’ve been daydreaming about for what feels like forever. Like every vacation, it started with a vision: I pictured the tables I’d dine at, the beaches I’d swim in, the streets I’d wander. As the trip started to take shape, so did the specifics: where those moments might happen, and what I’d wear for each of them.
To shape my vacation wardrobe, I visualize specific moments of the trip and build outfits around each. It’s how I avoid overpacking, keep my pre-trip anxiety low (no panic packing here), and turn packing into a ritual I actually look forward to. In today’s post, I’m giving you a peek into that process with five fully styled looks built around actual stops on my Menorcan getaway, from my flight-day fit to my poolside lounging look. You’ll get a glimpse at what’s in my suitcase and on my itinerary.

5 fully styled, moment-specific outfits for a European summer, built around destinations, not just aesthetics
Shoppable links for every look, including my exact go-tos for long-haul flights, pool days, and sunset dinners
A downloadable Notion template of the packing list I use for every trip
Flying to Europe: We’ll be flying out of JFK with a stopover in Frankfurt—there’s only one flight to Menorca each day, and we’ll just miss it. But it’s all good: we managed to snag business class seats on Singapore Airlines, often ranked among the best in the world. Per usual, I’m vibrating with excitement for the flight alone. The service and food are said to be top-tier, but I’ve heard mixed reviews on the comfort of the seat when configured in the lie-flat position. Will obviously report back!
As always, I’m aiming for that sweet spot between form and function: comfortable enough for a long-haul flight (before and after the pajama switch), but polished enough to head straight to lunch upon landing if I so choose. I’ll keep a pair of sandals in my carry-on to swap in once we land to freshen the outfit a bit.
